The Archbishops of Canterbury and York have asked every parish to set aside a special day of prayer in the run up to Pentecost under the theme Thy Kingdom Come.
At St Saviour’s, Pimlico on Thursday 25 May we will be having a wave of prayer throughout the day:
8:00 am Morning Prayer
9:00 am Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
10:00 am St Luke's Gospel (chapters 1 to 12, read in ten-minute intervals)
12:00 pm Gregorian Chant
12:30 pm Mass
1:00 pm St Luke's Gospel (chapters 13-24, read in ten-minute intervals)
3:00 pm Holy Rosary
5:30 pm Evening Prayer and Benediction

Fr Douglas MacMillan (recorder) and Benedict Lewis-Smith (piano) will give a short recital of music from the seventeenth to the twentieth centuries after Mass on Sunday 21 May at 12:15 pm. The recital will last about half an hour, and donations to the organ appeal will be appreciated.

Come along and join in this year's fabulous evening of mystery and detection. Join a table or bring friends and tackle the welcome quiz, then watch Act 1 of Dead in the Water written by Lindsay Tricker. See Father Matthew Catterick as Aaron Romanovitch, Russian billionaire aboard his new super yacht. Then together with your table use your detection skills to determine who the murderer is.
Tickets £10 or £5 for children and includes the Quiz, Play and delicious Fish and Chip supper

Canticum will be with us to sing the Byrd four-part Mass and after Mass drinks and nibbles will be served.
Join us for a special service helping us to prepare for the Easter Festival. There will be space for quiet reflection, an opportunity to receive the laying on of hands and anointing, and an opportunity (for those who wish) to speak in complete confidence with a priest.
