Community

There are a number of ways in which you can play an active part in the worshipping life of St Saviour's. Rotas are drawn up quarterly and you are able to commit for as much or as little as you wish. Training is provided for each of the roles, which include:

Altar serving 
Flower arranging 
Leading intercessions  
Reading at services 
Welcoming visitors 
Organising and run social events 
​Church sitting 
Contributing to our musical life

Tea & Chatter​

 

Every Wednesday, 11:00–12:30

Socialise and meet new people or reconnect with old friends whilst enjoying a cup of tea and a biscuit. Open to all, regardless of faith or background. Diverse abilities most welcome. Volunteers also welcome to help run the group.

Tea & Chatter in Japanese

 

Every Thursday, 11:00–13:00

A friendly conversation group for people over 60, conducted in Japanese.

Cultural activities include origami paper crafts and matcha tea ceremonies. Open to all, regardless of faith or background. Diverse abilities most welcome. Volunteers also welcome to help run the group.
