Come & Sing

Mozart’s 'Vesperae Solennes de Confessore'

Join us at St Saviour's, Pimlico for the opportunity to learn, explore, and perform Mozart’s beautiful 'Vesperae Solennes de Confessore'. Whether you have performed the work many times before, or whether you are new to the piece, this will be a wonderful opportunity to experience the work afresh.

Vesperae solennes de Confessore (K.339) was Mozart’s final composition at Salzburg Cathedral in 1780, before departing his hometown in search of greater artistic opportunities in Vienna. The text consists of five Psalms and the Magnificat canticle that concludes every Vespers service.
